Ingredients

Bread flour 600 g
Dry yeast
(30 g fresh)
10 g
Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Salt 1 tbsp. l.
Butter 1 tbsp. l.
Warm water 370 ml
Poppy 2 tbsp. l.
Large onion 1 PC.
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt 1 tbsp. l.
Rast. oil 1 tbsp. l.
Black pepper pinch

Cooking method

  • * Dissolve yeast in warm water with sugar and let it brew for 10 minutes.
  • * Sift flour in parts, knead the dough, adding salt and butter at the end.
  • * Knead thoroughly for 15 minutes
  • * Roll into a ball, put in a greased dish, cover with foil and let stand for an hour and a half.
  • * Fry poppy seeds in a dry frying pan
  • * Cut onion into rings and sprinkle with sugar
  • * Divide the dough into 15 equal parts, roll into balls and let sit for 15 minutes
  • * Roll each ball into a cake with a diameter of 8 cm
  • * Place on a baking sheet and let rise for 30 minutes
  • * On each cake, make a depression in the center with a glass and pierce in several places with a fork
  • * Drain the excess liquid from the onion and squeeze lightly
  • * Sprinkle onion with salt and pepper, add vegetable oil and stir
  • * Beat the yolk with 2 tablespoons of water and brush over the tortillas
  • * Place some onions in the center of the cake and sprinkle with poppy seeds
  • * Bake in an oven preheated to 220 C for 13-15 minutes

Only here is the "moth", which you need to sprinkle onions, in my recipe is too much, all the same a whole tablespoon ... I'm on " peephole "sprinkled ... Nothing turned out like that, but no more ...
The dough resembles the baguette dough from the recipe for HP, after 15 minutes the buns were completely unburned, I had to keep them for another 10 minutes.
If I do it again, I will increase the bow two or three times, so it turned out wonderfully well!
