Good day to all. We bought this bread maker, have already baked simple white bread for testing. Everything worked out great. The next day we decided to try program No. 3 - whole grain bread. All the ingredients were put according to the recipe (water, flour, salt, honey, olive oil instead of vegetable oil, yeast. The only thing - fiber was added - 2 tablespoons). Rye-wheat flour. It says on it that it is whole grain. As a result, more than 10 minutes pass (in total, the program shows more than 4 hours for cooking), but the mixing knives do not move. On the first program (white 1st grade), they immediately begin to violently mix everything. I ask for help - what is it? Is this conceived and will not interfere soon? Is the flour wrong? Defect? Thank you very much in advance.

Congratulations on your purchase

Wheat-rye flour cannot be whole grain.
Wheat rye flour is a composition of wheat bakery flour with rye flour in different proportions.
Whole grain flour is a high grade wheat flour.

In x \ n, each program works according to its own plan, kneads in different ways, different proofing in time.

Observe the work x \ n, memorize, write down and analyze!

TrashCudgel, in my both ovens, too, only on the "whole grain bread" program, at first there is a half-hour temperature equalization. Isn't it written in your instructions? So everything is in order, do not get upset ahead of time. Well, I think you yourself have already seen this. Happy bread!

Many thanks to everyone, I will know. The fact is that neither the instructions nor the recipe book describe this issue in detail; Well, about whole grain flour - then what is it? How to distinguish it?

About whole grain flour and more - read in the section Baking basics, ingredients for dough and more about this flour

Any advice please!
Which of the included recipes did you use? Did you make French bread? Baguettes? (I also have Filka 9040). I did one recipe a couple of times, it didn't work out what I expected ... and the baguettes didn't work either ...

I have a Philips 9020 stove, I think the instructions are similar. there should be a plate that describes all the stages of baking in time: time for kneading, then rest. in another plate, the total baking time, the time differs in weight and color, and it is written how long the bread is baked. I think you should have it.

I took it to the service today - after all, the whole grain program does not work, and it is constantly under-baked (all the ingredients are verified and in the correct sequence). Apparently, our Novosibirsk store is the only one dealing in shamanic devices.

I want to buy 9020. But what worries you - it seems like the power of this stove is 1000 W, when other bread makers have half as much - about 550. How costly it turns out, despite the fact that the bread will be baked for 4 hours every day ... tell me. is it worth paying so much attention to this characteristic. And is it worth buying this hp at all or is it better to look at another one in the same price category? Thank you!

The power of the stove is 650 W. it's written on the box!
I like the stove, so I boldly recommend it to everyone!

I have a Philips HD 90/20 Bread Maker. at first it didn't work, but then everything worked out. I bake 2 times a day. I am very pleased!

I bought it. I don’t regret it, although I haven’t baked anything except ordinary bread for program 1 ...

I also have Phillips 90/40 ... A very capricious oven - I can't get bread in it from the recipe book that came with it;) just a guard - at first I was even upset ... but then I switched to recipes that are published by members of the forum here, on the forum, and lo and behold !!! - it worked: Dhlebushek immediately began to be of excellent quality, even “swallows” any flour, without whims. The only problem that remained is the white top crust, which I then bring to a presentation in the oven
in general, I'm happy with the stove, before that there was LG, which I gave away ... I have something to compare with

Hello everyone!
A week ago we bought a Philips HD 9040 bread machine. We have already baked 5 loaves in it, all of them turn out to be very light, I already put them on the "dark crust", but I still have to bake them.
Tell me what to do? Does everyone have it? Or is it a defective one?
Thank you in advance!!!
irism
I also have a light top crust, the sides are baked perfectly !! began to close the window with foil before baking and put a "dark crust", the result pleased :)

Hello everyone. I also have a Phillips bread maker, but nothing works out for me. I was already upset that I spent the money at all. Can someone tell me a few recipes.

I also want to bake a wonderful bread, but nothing happens. Tell me a few recipes.
irism
Girls, one of the secrets of this stove is not to put more than 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of yeast, and then it starts to work out more or less .... I'm very good at French bread:
  • milk 250.0 (I use whey)
  • oil sl 2st l
  • salt 1 tsp
  • sugar 1 tbsp. l
  • flour 400g
  • yeast 1 tsp
oven in fr mode

another good recipe for sweet bread
  • 100 g water
  • 3 tablespoons bazaar cream
  • 3 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 tbsp sugar + vanillin
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 450 flour
  • 2 l yeast
bake in sweet mode

I took the recipes here, I don't remember from whom, I slightly modified them and the result is excellent !!! milk bread turned out well (also from here the recipe - look)
good luck !!!

It seems to me that "our" recipes contain a very large amount of flour. At least 100 g, in all other stoves, they put less flour. Here is French bread, the book says 500 g, and you write 400. Accordingly, less flour, better baked.
I tried baking the "cinnamon rolls" from our book. Just super !!! The only thing is that I really love vanilla, but it is not in the recipe. I did everything according to the recipe, but added a little vanilla (by eye). Fragrances for the whole apartment, excellent taste!

agree with you!!
I also made buns - they were my first when I bought cotton and also really liked
Zhenechka01
Yesterday my family asked for buns again. Impressed by our discussion, I decided to put 1 cup instead of 1.6 cups of flour (as in the recipe). As a result, the dough turned out to be a little more difficult to work with, but the buns turned out to be even better. Softer, somehow, lighter (not by weight), but by sensations. As if they are melting!

Hello everyone! And I measure everything according to the instructions, though not with cups, but on electronic scales. Baking month 1.5. I have already mastered a lot of things in Borodino, corn, potato, French, etc. I tried everything from the booklet. There were also punctures, the most memorable of the store mix - Borodinsky. The gingerbread man turned out so tight, did not turn. And I did not dare to add water, I faithfully trusted the instructions, and not by instinct. In general, everything must be done by yourself - from the beginning to the end, then the result is appropriate!
TrashCudgel
I did not have anything good. Factory defect - a "dead center" in the motor. As they said in the service, this is not the first call from 9040.

It just became interesting to me, because you could already be disappointed in this model. And then there are a lot of terrible reviews on the internet.
Did it not work for you right away, or then something happened to her?

In general, many things happened right away - for example, non-baking, the absence of a dark crust. The whole grain bread program did not work. However, they reassured themselves: about the crust and non-baking - by what we can do wrong, about the program - by the local post about the temperature distribution.

Of course, you had to first read everything in detail on the Internet. Today, while choosing a completely different thing - a food processor - I came across some very interesting messages. It turns out that Phillips' motors are a sore spot in combines. They fly, judging by the numerous reviews, this is the only way. And in general, there are many reviews about the extremely poor build quality of a variety of products from Philips. For me personally, this company is now on the black list.
Zhenechka01
What I want to say. Have I completely disappointed in this bread maker, not yet (I hope it will continue to be so !!!). But the fact that she has "character" is unambiguous! When we bought flour for bread for the first time, we were advised to take a "certain" one in our store. Three weeks used only her. Then this flour was not found, they took another. And what was my surprise when the bread did not fit, but on the contrary, as if it had fallen inside. This is not "cool" at all !!! With horror I imagine if this flour will disappear completely (God forbid!).

And, again, I repeat, there is a lot of flour in the bookmark. On the main bread 750 g I put not 500 g flour, but 400 g and the bread turned out to be simply excellent.

I was given this bread machine the other day .... what to do with it? how does it work? I don’t understand anything in the instructions (((How can buns and even stuffed buns be obtained in it, when there is one bucket there ??? ... I don’t understand anything. And I want to try !!!! Tell me where you can read the basics .... from the very beginning.
Yar-copperhead
Innicom, try to bake at least one loaf, according to the instructions, the simplest one. You will see - it is not difficult, and many questions will be removed! and no matter what kind of flour (at least for the debut)! Good luck!

Good day everyone. We bought this toy for ourselves, now we don't buy bread in the store, we bake everything ourselves. I immediately have a number of questions. For some reason, recipes for other bread makers (especially from LG) are not received. Tolley the size of the measuring cup does not match, aphids do not understand. The top falls through. Here it has risen, there is such a magnificent crust, and suddenly before our eyes - puff, and down. But soft. It's a shame! Pekla darnitsky - it turned out only 1 time, it falls all the time. It's still tasty, but still. What's wrong?
Zhenechka01
Hello, artemvas!
There is a lot of information about rye bread on the site. For example here:

https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=72478.0
Here about the problems with the "roof":
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=7690.0

And the recipes from other ovens, I personally have not tried, I bake basic or French from "native" recipes. It seems to me that the matter may be in the program, not the right time for the spreading, or something else ...
Look at other topics, maybe you will find answers!
Good luck !!!
MariNar
What model does dad have?
Zhenechka01
MariNar, it has SD-254, but now there are newer models. 255 already with the function of rye bread ...

Good afternoon everyone! Today in our oven HD 9040 has baked another bread and I hasten to share my joy with you - it turned out amazingly !! Fried uniformly, rose perfectly, but delicious ...

At the beginning, I got gorgeous bread and ordinary white, and French, and all kinds of cupcakes, and then cotton simply refuses to bake. It will not mix, it will not bake, then the dough will not rise
Gael
I didn't want to believe the bad reviews on the forum, but in vain. My Phillips broke down in two weeks, before that I baked everything perfectly. They took them to the service, they said that they immediately sent these models to the factory, without even disassembling them. They say the problem is in the design. And she was so beautiful and smart. Now I bought a moulinex, which also bakes baguettes. Try
Svetulka
And we took our beauty for repair yesterday. Purchased in July 2010 baked perfectly, everything worked out the first time, and then strange things began: it would not bake, then the bread would not rise, then it would not interfere. How many products were thrown out - horror !!!! In the end, it stopped working completely. So we are waiting for what they will tell us to repair or something else ... Now I will be afraid all the time, and suddenly it breaks, etc.
irism
yeah .... it's a pity that there are so many complaints about our x / n .... how did the manufacturers manage to release such a low-quality product? I also put the bread to bake every time and suffer during the whole process: will it work or not? At first, nothing worked at all, but now I have adjusted myself and make only the bread that always turns out, but I want to try new recipes, but I'm afraid of translating products! : -But I like the way the oven kneads the dough - perfect !!!! so now I've got used to it: kneads cotton, and bakes the oven ...
Svetulka
Who have not had any trouble with this cotton, please respond !!!! What did you do with cotton, repaired or handed over completely ??? Who passed this model, which one did they take later?
irism
my stove is working fine, I'm happy, but reading about how it quickly fails, I also began to think about an alternative ... After a bunch of reviews, I would have stopped my eyes on the Panasonic 255-257 ...
Svetulka
I was just about to choose the same from Panasonic reviews, but I did not like the design at all, I looked at it in Eldorado and refused, but I really liked the Phillips. Although there were warnings on the forums that new models have not been tested and there may be various troubles ... Now I go through all this on my own experience ...
irism
the design of Panasonic is, of course, controversial, but after the ordeal with our cotton, I think you have to choose the quality! but I believe in the quality of Panasonic
Svetulka
I did not like the design on closer examination, everything is somehow oblique and crooked, maybe a fake, I looked at Eldorado.
irism
Eldorado is also not the best store, I bypass it))) so maybe a fake

Hello everyone. I read a lot of bad things about our HP on this forum and I cannot agree with you. I guess I was just lucky, but I have no complaints about our oven.just a week ago I was at work and my upset husband called and said that my HP fell and crashed. I want to say that we moved not so long ago and the life is not quite right yet. The HP stood in the kitchen on the washing machine and when the machine was wringing out the laundry there was a strong vibration and the HP fell from it. I'll tell you this that when I read the reviews about this oven in the net, I didn't even count on its further use. And lo and behold. The husband somehow put it together and the oven works again without any buts. Like this. So don't think badly about her.
