In general, my mixer died today. I probably used it for 10 years. Phillips. You have to choose a new one, but the eyes are scattering

Please share which one you like.

I had a pretty simple one, 2 types of attachments (whisk and for dough), 3 speeds. Conveniently, there was a type of machine on which a mixer and a bowl are placed: the mixer works - the bowl rotates. I set it up and went about my business)).
Probably, I missed one more container for beating in it. Well, maybe speed sometimes. Controversial though.

I was thinking about the combine - only it is not clear why I need it? There is an electric meat grinder separately, the dough is made in a bread machine. There are all sorts of cutting, and nyser, and graters. The blender is submersible. Juicers too. And I didn’t use the old combine, I gave it to someone for a long time.

In general, I'm waiting for help from the audience
Qween
MargoL , I came to the conclusion that power is important in the mixer (preferably more than 300 W), and the beaters should be completely made of metal. Often, a plastic retainer is placed in the rims, with which the rim itself is attached to the stem. These clips, after a while, crack and break, then you have to ask someone to "weld" both parts of the rim (and there are actually two rims).
Freken Bock
I would also recommend speeds, about five. After all, you even whisk the whites first at low, and then at high speed. But I may have lagged behind life, probably all mixers have it now? I have Phillips brought to my mother from Germany in the mid-eighties
Svetlana
I wrote such a large detailed message and for some reason it did not reach. I will repeat briefly - before the new year I bought a Bork WI SBP 1340WT mixer, the price is 2580 rubles. A 2.8 l stainless steel bowl is on a stationary stand, and the mixer itself can be removed and used in other dishes, 5 speeds and 2 bowl rotation speeds. The mixer is offset from the center of the bowl, so it is very convenient to add food while whipping. I've already whipped the whites and kneaded the dough, it's so convenient - it works, but I add products and change the whipping speed - super! Find it on the Internet, take a look, if you like it - go in search. I was looking for it for 2 weeks, bought it in the Matrix, it was alone, but the seller said that it had just been exhibited, they were ground up very quickly. I recommend. Good luck!
Mams
And it's more convenient for me to hold it in my hands. And you can use any cup, if you whip / mix a little bit completely - then smaller, if the volumes are more, then we take a larger cup.

The harvester has a stationary mixer, I have a Bosch MUM 47. There the corollas rotate along the 8ki trajectory, in three directions. Therefore, everything captures from the walls. All the same, with small volumes, it is more convenient for me with a small mixer. My husband bought a BOSCH 450 Watt this year. It has 2 whisks for liquids and 2 hooks for thick dough. 5 speeds + pulse mode. Convenient. Light. True, there is also a blender in it, but it is not needed - weak. The husband chose the most powerful mixer, it turned out to be only one with a blender ... well, God would be with him. Let it lie, maybe it will come in handy

By the way, there is also an option with a bowl (IMHO, if you really choose between Bork and Bosch, it is better - Bosch).

The previous Boshik also lived for 10 years and at one unpleasant moment he simply did not turn on, something burnt inside him ...
MargoL
Clear. 5 speeds, impulse, bowl. More than 300 watts, all-metal stirrers. BOSCH or Bork))
Tomorrow I'll go and get to know them live ...
Is 2500 not expensive for a mixer? I lagged behind life, I thought I would meet 1500 ...

Thanks to everyone who was imbued with the task)). But I don't close Temka
Freken Bock
MargoL, you will really assess the situation with your eyes. Mixers are different. And in 1500 you can fully meet, and at the same time get deep satisfaction from the purchase. Those over 2500 are already closer to the spacecraft. Maybe I really want one, but where should I put it? And Bosch and Bork still cannot be put on a par, I think. It may well be that Bork will work conscientiously, and Bosch will cover himself the next day, that's how lucky, but Bosch is a brand. I'm for Bosch.
lina
I have a Mulinex mixer (without a bowl) with beaters and hooks, 4 speeds - for 400 rubles ... Beaters with a plastic "connection". The third year has been working, it will break down - without hesitation, I will buy a similar one.

Freken Bock, here's one more important thing! The size. Although I have a large kitchen, there is nowhere to put the "monster".
I'll go to the store now, I'll monitor it. In principle, BOSCH is also closer to me. Or even the same Phillips that I had - worked without problems for more than 10 years, isn't it bad?

Lina, so I looked at BOSCH in the online store - they also have a plastic connection on the corollas, and all models, even the top one. And I seriously thought ... I will torture the subscribers. Now I'm thinking about where to move. Wrong, first to the WORLD, then to MediaMarkt, since he is not so far from me.
MargoL
In general, I bought it. In the end, I settled on Philips 1565, with a stand.
I can not insert a picture

Power 350 W, 3 speeds + tube mode. 2 types of baits (proteins and dough) and a spatula. Pretty small, no plastic attachments.

Made cheesecake today. I'm just amazed at how quickly the whites whipped up to their spikes. Literally 2 minutes, if not less.
Here it is, happiness)))

Thanks to everyone who advised!

And I have a minimixer. Slightly longer than the handle (and three times thicker at the base) 🔗

Hairpin, and what is it good for? How do you use it? I don’t think this is a full-fledged replacement for a mixer, but once they praised it, it’s something wonderful!
I saw something very similar in ikea, but it was called a milk frother. View - one to one, and also on 2 batteries.
Hairpin
I bought it for homemade creams. And I remembered it in the context of the French press. But, I haven't used it for whipping milk yet ...
Kundze
Two years ago I bought an AEG mixer. I chose with a metal bowl. 5 speeds. But at first he spits so that I don't have time to wipe.
Has anyone encountered such a problem?

Trendy
As I understand, not everyone considers the combine as a substitute for the mixer in terms of whipping? I'm just wondering if it is worth replacing my old mixer with a new one or wait until buying a combine (such as Bosch or Kenwood with a bowl)
MargoL
Well, and an unpleasant infa.

I washed the bowl from the new mixer in the dishwasher. It led (((. Now it knocks at work, so much, and sways. I thought that it was caused by the temperature, I decided to wash it again, suddenly it would straighten up. Nope, it didn't work out. It got better, but still
In general, keep in mind - hand washing only. I'm very upset because the old Phillips bowl was much stronger. After all, I immediately thought about durability when I bought it. She twirled this bowl in her hands, most importantly. And it seemed to me that her bezel was not that very strong. But then the thought passed by the edge, and that was all. Pancake. But it was necessary to be more careful ...

In general, the attempt to save money failed. We'll still have to fork out for a combine ...
Muzuk
And I have such a mixer Bork MI SCP 1340 WT, my cup is always in the dishwasher, the instructions say that you can. (it did not affect the appearance in any way) After I washed the meat grinder in the dishwasher, I began to read the instructions more carefully, whether it is possible or not.
When I bought myself a mixer, I also wanted Bosch, but everyone tried to dissuade me, saying that the quality is not very good, they often break. And the corollas look flimsy compared to bork
Mams
Muzuk, no really ...for 2900 Bork? Maybe Bosch's quality is not the same. But Bork's quality is STILL not like paying that kind of money for him ... (IMHO).
Leska
I also had to look for a replacement for a burnt out old friend, after a long search I stopped at Philips 1571 and during a week of working with it (pah-pah) I never regretted my choice. The work is just a beast! Conducted an experiment: separately 3 eggs were beaten by the Bosch MUM 4655 and Philips combine. Defeated tame.

skifff
and another search for a mixer ...

tell me, pliz, who whipped the batter (as for a ciabatta) with whisk, not hooks (it climbs up the hooks), which whisks are better:
long bladed Mixer
or with a shortMixer?

(INTO thick, not wire, of course).

the toad strangles to buy a very expensive unit with saaaamy long corollas))
MargoL
skifff,
and what is this model, on the first photo? I have not seen such ...

Essentially, the higher the blade height, the less dough will wrap around it. I, of course, do not pretend to be 100% correct, but from experience - so.
skifff
MargoL, Thank you. and then I have combines and mixers with short blades. there was nothing to compare with.

skifffyou bought this beast and how do you like it?
skifff
DJ, bought it.
the impressions are somewhat contradictory: small (this is a plus), heavy (perhaps, for kneading dough too). a good difference in speeds (i.e., does not start to spray everything at a low speed); I can't call it particularly powerful (it was Soviet Leningrad at one time - definitely more powerful) and the pulsating mode somehow confused me (the button is not fixed); however, the corollas in kenwood are downright inspiring - there is no chance of bending, breaking, etc. By the way, the dough is wrapped, but due to the cuffs it does not climb up.

separately about the packaging))) I understand the loss, for INTO money is being fought: in such a current I still received a microphone with a mixer)))

Well, live and learn. And I didn’t know that the plastic stop on the rims was bad. About 30 years ago my sister brought me a mixer from the GDR - 3 speeds, power 400 W, 3 attachments (for steep dough, for proteins and muffin dough, for cocktails). The mixer has been used, as they say, in the tail and mane all these years. The plastic on the attachments is fine. And I still use the mixer.
Lena

quite possible.
I myself interfere with hooks for 400 W. and for bread, and for cakes (this is more abrupt - and still vymeshivaetstsa).

skifff - I have a question

- mixes with a mixer just as well as in a bread maker and gluten develops well ??
Tanyusha
Lena, I kneaded bread dough and 200 W with a hand mixer, but for some breads this is very problematic, for example, Italian from Misha, I had to knead for a very long time to get the dough that I needed in consistency, and since I really liked this bread, I had to buy a kneader. Lena, if it is not possible to purchase a more powerful one, then your option is quite suitable.

I did not knead bread, but for dumplings I kneaded well. Although the bread maker is certainly easier.

Thank you! you calmed me down! I will dwell on this for now, until better times.
julifera
Len, it was a question, I just put 3 question marks, and it transformed me into a smiley.

In fact, I believe that good gluten cannot be obtained with a mixer!

I just remember that for more than 30 minutes I kneaded the dough for Easter with hooks with a mixer by hand, and drove it with my hand, God forbid - with all the twists and turns that the hospital never dreamed of - and I didn't really like the dough - it was not a single whole and smooth like after a bread machine.
But at the same time, the Easter turned out to be good and tasty, that is, there were no special problems from kneading with a mixer.

That is, tanya1962 is right - it will do for a minimum, but if you want a very good development of gluten, then I doubt it.

The only thing - I felt very sorry for the mixer, it got so hot ...
skifff
julifera,
here is a photo of ciabatta, which is obtained when mixing with a mixer (although this particular sample had to be kept in the oven for another 5-10 minutes):

Did you knead with stops, letting the dough rest, like a bread maker? I read Lyudmila somewhere, about the method with rest, so that with less kneading, gluten would develop better.
I wonder why there is no dough mixer according to the principle of a bread machine, since it kneads so well, then what's the catch?

aha, I wonder what other loads does it support? otherwise I already burned my blender somehow
skifff
julifera,
and nevertheless - without a good kneading of such holes, you can't get it
the best is the holes when kneading with horizontal hooks (the air is taken into the dough correctly), but the harvester could not stand such abuse: lifted the sticky dough up along the axis of the bowl, poured the base, table, welded the nozzle to the axis ... brrr)
in the end I had to switch to a mixer.

and aha - thank you! they don't live long with me - I eat them in one person), therefore, bake one piece for each person who wants to)

The mixer is in agony. Became a whisk to cling to the whisk. Rumble .............. Prih It is necessary to rearrange one whisk until it stops beating. I understand that he has four positions. Working only one. I figured out which mixer to target, and decided on this one:

Mixer Bosch MFQ-3560

Power - 450 W; product material - plastic; mixer type - with a bowl; country of origin - Slovenia; number of speeds - 5 + pulse mode.
