Green rice with chicken and spinach

Ingredients

Chicken or turkey breast 1 PC
chopped frozen spinach 200 g

And it was supposed that for dinner there would be exactly Risotto with chicken and spinach. But somehow it so happened that I put more spinach in the pan, and boiled less rice, and that's what happened. Just take my word for it, it turned out very tasty. And do not want to take a word, try to cook. Well, of course, only if you like spinach
  • Boil rice.
  • Put the spinach in a dry frying pan and let it melt over low heat until the water evaporates from it.
  • Add the peeled garlic to the spinach, mix well.
  • While the rice is boiling and the spinach is thawing, cut the meat into small pieces and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Finely chop the onion, coarsely grate the carrots, add to the meat. Peel the tomato from the skin (make a cross-shaped incision at the top, scald with boiling water for a little while in boiling water and remove the skin), you can use tomatoes in their own juice or sun-dried. When the meat with vegetables is almost ready, add the spinach, put the tomato, cut into small pieces. And after all, salt and add your favorite spices: pepper, dried basil, ginger, and whoever loves what. Simmer all this for about 5 minutes. Mix the finished rice with the contents of the pan and keep on the fire for several minutes, so that the rice warms up and absorbs the aroma of vegetables.
