Panasonic SD-255. White bread

Category: Yeast bread
Panasonic SD-255. White bread

Ingredients

1 tsp dry yeast
500 gr wheat flour
1.5 tsp salt
1.5 tbsp sugar
1.5 tbsp oil
280 ml water

Cooking method

Height "at the withers" of the finished bread 17 cm

It is based on the recipe from the instructions for HP from page 16 "Plain white bread" for size L (for 500 g of flour).
My changes: reduced the amount of yeast and, the amount of water is matched to the properties of my flour. The original recipe contains 1.5 tsp of yeast and 330 ml of water, respectively.

I put all the ingredients in the order recommended for this HP:
- yeast
- flour, shake the bucket to distribute flour evenly
- salt, sugar in different corners of the bucket
- oil
- water, carefully pour over the entire surface of the flour, so that the water does not "sneak" to the bottom of the bucket to the yeast ahead of time.

This bread is one of the most favorite in my family.
I also reduce the water to 280-300 ml, but I did not dare to reduce the amount of yeast. Lika, thanks for the hint, now I will also bake this bread with 1 tsp of yeast for 500 g of flour.

Did anyone use the fast mode for this recipe?
Lika
ma-ri-na , welcome to the forum!
Yes, it is possible on a fast one, but increase the amount of yeast to 1.25 tsp.

Can you please tell me if you can do a half load for 200-250 g of flour? How will this affect the amount of other components?
Who uses Formipan 2 in 1 yeast (bought at the All-Russian Exhibition Center), no amplifiers are needed for them?
Lika
svt47 , welcome to the forum!

You should not make bread from 200 grams of flour in HP, the minimum amount for Panasonic is 400 grams.
If you need to recalculate all the components from 500 to 200 gr or 250 gr, recalculate by multiplying the amount indicated in the recipe by a coefficient of 0.4 or 0.5, respectively.
No amplifiers are needed for any dry yeast if you bake only with wheat flour.

So, finally, I bought a Panasonic SD 256 hellebore. How much I had read on the forum before it appeared .... words cannot convey. BUT, as soon as this unit was in my kitchen, I honestly did not approach it all day, because I did not know which side to approach it. It became scary. To begin with, I chose the simplest recipe, with Lika's recommendations (namely, I used 280 ml of water, although I replaced the water with potato broth). During the FIRST IN LIFE "spying" on the kolobok, these 50 ml of liquid had to be added (a little bit). The process is still the same, I'll tell you ... In the end, it seemed to me that the kolobok is Ideal. Long hours of waiting for the process and now my first bread is cooling down .... I post a photo, I still don't know what's inside, but outwardly completely not bad ... (maybe for the first time?). Up to 17 cm, I have it, as the owner of this topic has not matured and the roof is a little uneven. Tell the young baker what to tweak next time.

In my family, this is the most favorite bread recipe, only instead of water I often use milk, kefir or yogurt.
Lika
prada, with the firstborn !!! Very nice bread turned out.

The potato broth makes the bread very fluffy and helps the dough rise. Less than 50 ml could be added.

The photo with a cut shows that they cut early, the bread has not yet cooled down to the end.

Girls, and no one has tried to bake bread at the rate of 1/2 the norm? It so happens that a standard roll is enough for us for a week. And I want more fresh bread
Rina
celfh, try it. For Panasonic, the minimum flour is 300 g, that is, this recipe must be recalculated by a factor of 0.6. Now I bake bread from 400 g of flour, it eats at least 2/3 ...

And if you add not instant yeast to the dough, but ordinary yeast, then how to correct the recipe and cooking technology in HP?

We recalculate the recipe as usual, with a coefficient. Pressed yeast for bread dough 2g per 100g of flour is a classic, and you also need to look at the strength and freshness of yeast (after all, they are also different).

Thanks for the answer.

But after all, on a regular program, the dough will not have time to rise with ordinary yeast. Need to pause and then turn it back on? Or is it somehow done differently?

Why won't he be in time? Even as soon as possible ... it happens sometimesthat I suspend the program, but this is very rare .. The reasons are different, most often not very fresh yeast. I usually buy 4-5 50g packs. They are well stored in my refrigerator (without freezing), but it happens that they get old a bit .... But it can be seen, then it happens that I just pull the plug out of the socket for ten minutes, if the result is not satisfied, then I repeat the "procedure". .. That would not miss the time, looking for a timer and in his pocket.
Rina
iolanta, you can increase the operating time of live yeast without unplugging the stove from the outlet.

Take pressed yeast (you can even 1.5 g per 100 g of flour, that is, 7.5 g for a loaf of 500 g of flour), put in a bucket, add 200 g of flour and 150 g of water (from the general recipe), put the oven on kneading pizza ", after 10-15 minutes you can reset the program. Thus, you get a brew. Next, you need to put the "main", add all the remaining ingredients. The program can be started immediately, or you can put a delay for an hour or two so that the dough has time to grow well.

This night I put bread like this - I just added 2 hours of delay. The bread turned out to be simply gorgeous.

The poet's soul could not bear it. Spat on the agony of choice and bought a Panasonic SD-2501. Immediately, in panting, he loaded the usual bread for baking. Do not judge strictly, this is my firstborn

Thank you so much for the recipe! I also experimented a little and ended up saving time and got a delicious and eye-pleasing bread.
Here's what I used: First, pour 1.5 teaspoons of yeast, then 500 grams of sifted wheat flour, then 1.5 teaspoons of salt in the corner of the bucket, 1.5 tablespoons of sugar in the opposite corner of the bucket, then very thinly sliced butter (equivalent to a tablespoon, you can a little more) and then 240 ml. milk and 60 ml. water so that it does not exceed 300 ml.
Then we load all this into the oven and put it on the main mode, fast baking. indicate size L, light crust and wait 1 hour 55 minutes. The result will definitely meet your expectations. Bon Appetit)))

Thank you for the recipe, this is my first successful bread, before that I tried it according to the recipe book, but alas, it turned out they write a lot of water, like that. And there is simply no time to experiment with the baby and even read all the recommendations on the forum, so thanks again

To your health!

I bake this bread very often, but instead of water I add sour milk or whey.
Very tasty.

Lika, thanks a lot for the recipe!
It was he who chose it for the first bread in KhP and now it is our daily white bread) At first it seemed unleavened, and then we realized that that is why it is perfect for ANY sandwiches, even with sausage, even with jam, even with overseas caviar;))

It looks like there was not enough yeast, the bread turned out to be quite short and quite dense. In my case, too little water came out - the roof blew up on one side. But I liked it for sandwiches, it doesn't crumble Panasonic SD-255. White bread
