Vadim Solynin
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.

I want to ask for advice. There is a model with built-in scales. It looks like this:

Do I need a scale in a bread maker

Please tell me is it necessary? Does the scale make sense if the kit includes a measuring cup?
Hairpin
MAMA DARAGAYA !!! YES WHAT ARE THE MEASURING GLASSES ??? !!!

VADIM, MEASURED GLASSES SHOULD BE WASHED !!!

Will you also measure butter or sour cream with a measuring glass?

I will just clarify right away that we need not just scales, but the correct scales. The correct scales are those on which a five-ruble coin weighs 6-7 grams.

She left for the slippers.

SVP I will clarify, up to 2kg an error is desirable 1g!
Aunt Besya
99% of bakers use scales, not a measuring cup;) Personally, I only measure liquid for them. this makes sense Scales should not only be "correct", as Hairpin wrote, but also with a step of 1 gram, the ability to memorize and add, the choice in pounds and grams!

And response time ... response time ...

WELL FOR I HAVE TO RUN FOR A NEW PACKAGE OF FLOUR.

And then someone bought a scale from us with a response time ... it seems about 20 seconds. That is, the bookmarking of products has turned into a "Do / do not have time" game.
aynat
How much will the scales increase the price? And what is the maximum weighed weight? If 1kg, then the hostesses will still need separate scales and then there is no point in such an installation ...
sazalexter
Hairpin Only not the response time, but the shutdown time when idle. The response time is when the coin is put and they calculate the weight for 10 minutes

Do not understand. What is response time? And how much should it be?

There is no exact information on the price yet. The price will certainly increase, but it's very convenient! Weighed and closed the scales in a bread maker - it does not take up space in the kitchen. What is the maximum weight needed? Of course, I understand that the more the better, but still I would like to hear the real numbers.
sazalexter
SVP The shutdown time when idle should wash minutes5 at least and not 20 seconds. The scales must be up to 2-3 kg

Well Sazalexter has already answered. The scales turn themselves off. After a while, when they are not touched. Therefore, it must be here ... probably two minutes ...

But the weight ... I have a maximum of 800 grams of ingredients + the bucket itself ... Yes, it really is not enough ...
sazalexter
SVP and in general IMHO the scales break very easily, the repair cost is high ..
One hit, awkward movement, Khan's beam Libra must be separate ...

2kg is not enough for me personally. I have scales for 3kg, and sometimes it is not enough. After all, scales are needed not only for baking, but in general on the farm. And if these are not enough and more are needed, then what's the point in the built-in ones? Although, the idea is certainly good ...

I use simple scales of the super-brand company Saturn for 3.5 years, they did not fail (t-t-t). if complete with HP will be such a simple and reliable scales - Hurray! a measuring cup is not convenient! more precisely, with its help it is convenient to weigh and fill in the ingredients, but only liquids can be accurately measured. I use scales so as not to think about the number of glasses and how much sifted or coarse flour will hang in my measuring glass
3 kg is enough - you can reset the container and you will be happy

I don't see the need for a scale. Better quality like Panasonic, including the bucket and baking quality, and the look is designer like Kenwood, for example. Or another, but to make it look more interesting, and not just a white plastic box. We women are greedy for appearance.

will be like a plane

P.S. By the way, not everyone likes the "look - designer, like Kenwood's" ...

Aunath, this is our aggression on Kenwood ... after our broken Kenwoods ...

Nope, in 1. I don't like stainless steel, in 2. - right angles

I stand up for the Kenwoods !!! great stove !!!! and most importantly - the lid is even, you can put so many unnecessary things on top !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )))))))))))))))))))))))
and if on business: to get a good bread in the hands of a beginner, a scale is simply needed! but on condition that in the recipe book (attached to the HP) the recipes must be in grams! therefore, buying a stove immediately with weights, the percentage of those who are not disappointed in this purchase will be much higher
wrapped up ... but the meaning, I hope, is clear, a good marketing move, for the future

If in this model there is a dough kneading for dumplings-dumplings as in Delongey, then I would gladly take it with scales. Everyone has to buy a scale. No matter how well they are guided by the quality of the kolobok, weighing is necessary with liquids and oils.

good marketing ploy

Yes, Vadim in general ... well, he has an approach to our forum !!!

I think the scales in the bread maker are an extra device that increases the price (it doesn't even matter how much), no matter how small they are, an additional compartment for them increases the volume of the bread machine, except that the oven does not heat up weakly (as noted by the dear aunt Basya), she besides, it can also shake strongly, and this is not good for any accurate device - and a baker's scales need accurate ones and not only for baking bread, but also for other purposes. And individual modern scales do not take up much space (a thin book), it doesn’t take up much space on my shelf, I always know where to find them ... Better do separate neat Brand scales (the cheaper the better), accurate, with in small steps, up to 5 kg (it is enough for me, although you can make up to 10 kg or 2 options), I think people ordering a stove or a multicooker from you (if they need weights, based on positive user reviews), they will also order scales from you !

Thank you all HUGE for your opinions

Unfortunately, I have to ask for the termination of this discussion, because I received a comment from the administration of the forum. For some reason, the discussion of the convenience and comfort of home appliances was perceived as promoting our products ...
