Cake Red Galinka

Ingredients

Dough:
Wheat flour 500 g
Sugar 200 g
Margarine 200 g
Egg 2 pcs.
Baking powder 1 p.
(10 g)
Thick tomato paste.
It is tomato paste, not ketchup !!!
6 tbsp. l.
Cream:
Milk 0,5 l
Semolina 6 tbsp. l.
Butter 350 g
Sugar 1 tbsp.
Zest of 2x oranges

Cooking method

  • Grind margarine with flour until crumbs (I grate frozen margarine).
  • Add baking powder, eggs, sugar and tomato. Knead the dough. Divide into three parts. Put in the mold with your hands. The dough is a little sticky, so you can add flour when rolling. Bake 3 cakes without baking them, they should be soft. t ~ 180C, ~ 15min. Cool down.
  • For cream: cook porridge from 0.5 liters of milk and 6 tbsp. l semolina, add 1 tbsp. Sahara. Cool down. Add 350gr. soft butter and zest of 2 oranges, grated on a fine grater. Beat well. Smear all the cakes with cream, it is desirable that the thickness of the cream matches the thickness of the cakes. Top with chocolate icing
  • But I made the cream and glaze according to my recipe:
  • glaze-50ml cream 30% bring to a boil and add 100g of chocolate to a homogeneous mass.
  • Brew cream-pack of caramel pudding as on the package. Beat the butter 200g and, continuing to beat, add the pudding, then 150g of powdered sugar. Beat well.

Girls, I want to share with you the recipe for this sooo tasty and unusual cake. The fact is that the cakes contain tomato paste! It gives the dough such a beautiful red color. In the cake itself, the tomato is not felt at all. The cake is beautiful, delicious and very easy to make. The recipe is not mine. Recommend!
