Orange-lemon jam

Ingredients

Orange 4 things.
Lemon 2 pcs.
Sugar 0.5 weight of fruit or to taste

Cooking method

  • I want to share with you a recipe for a simple and delicious orange and lemon jam in the microwave. Nata351 once suggested something similar, only from apples.
  • Peel oranges and lemons, removing the white film (ideally, remove the film from the slices too. But I didn't bother.) Cut into slices In a glass dish with a wide microwave base, stir the fruit with sugar. Put it on full power - I have 850 - for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally to dissolve the sugar and not boil away. If you want thicker, you can add 0.5-1 tsp of pectin. In this case, cut the cooking time by half and add pectin 3-5 minutes before the end of cooking, because it thickens quickly). I, in the absence of pectin, tried to cook with the addition of half a packet of Zhelinka 3in1. Then it can be perfectly used as a filling in pies. You can not add anything, just boil a little longer. The result is a wonderful citrus jam. If you wish, you can lightly walk with a blender - it will be jam.
  • Orange-lemon jam
  • I got very juicy and light oranges. From red oranges or grapefruits, the jam is amazingly colored.
  • Here you can see that it is still better to remove the films
  • Orange-lemon jam
  • And this I twisted a little with a blender. Photos of very low quality (from the phone) and do not convey the beauty of the finished jam. This jam can be made from any berries. I make all winter with frozen raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and red currants. In the summer I made this jam from apricots (pieces of semi-fresh apricots with a great aroma turned out) and from a mixture of these berries, rolled up hot - it still stands perfectly. The good thing about this method is that at any moment you have delicious jam for breakfast in 20 minutes. In summer, after all, sometimes you also want jam, but for some reason we are used to thinking that jam is only for the winter. And with fresh bread and milk, it's just great. Try it, maybe you will like it. Everyone I offered this recipe to are very happy.

Pinky, add me first to the list of very satisfied with your recipe!

I cooked your jam along with citrus skins, and then chopped it with a hand blender.
What a delicious jam! I already baked buns with it, and it did not flow and did not burn.

Thank you for a wonderful, very quick recipe!

Made exactly according to the recipe. Happened. I did it again: There was no time to stand before the juice was released (guests were on the doorstep). I just threw everything into HP and turned on the machine. Yes, I also put 2 cinnamon sticks right in the bucket. I made small pieces, but pieces, I don't like blowing, but last time I did it large, I didn't like it. I planted an orange into pieces of 2-3 mm, the most delicious !!! Thank you!

Pinky! Thanks for the recipe! I did everything exactly according to the recipe, only 5 minutes before the end of cooking, I added a bag of "Krnfityurki" (it contains pectin and citric acid). When it cooled down, I ground everything with a blender. It turned out to be citrus jam. Vku-o-sleepy! I will do more.

simulia I am very glad that I liked the recipe!Indeed, fast, trouble-free and tasty! I also often do it when rolled up jams get bored - there is always fresh jam on the table. Cook to your health!

So I join these satisfied! I made jam today, but I only had two oranges and a couple of lemons. I removed the films from the lemons, and cut the oranges like this. Granulated sugar took a little more than half the weight of the fruit. Thanks for the recipe - quick, simple and delicious.

The next time I make this jam, I will not peel the fruit. Today I drank tea with this jam and I got a piece with zest - oh, how delicious!
