Rabbit in spicy sauce


rabbit carcass up to 2 kg
onion 1 PC
medium carrots 2 pcs
garlic 2-3 cloves
red lentils 2-3 tbsp
dry mix 1 tbsp
half a small lemon
soy sauce 1 tbsp
sherry vinegar 1-1.5 tbsp
a few drops of balsamic
chopped cilantro and parsley 1 tbsp
pink, white and Sichuan pepper 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • 1. Cut the rabbit carcass into portions. Prepare the marinade: combine soy sauce, olive oil, sherry vinegar, balsamic and garam masala. Rub the pieces of rabbit with this mixture and leave for an hour.
  • 2. Put on the bottom of the ducklings carrots cut into circles, onions cut into half rings, cloves of garlic, half a lemon cut into 3-4 parts. Place the pieces of rabbit on top.
  • Put in an oven preheated to 250 degrees and let brown.
  • 3. Pour boiling water over the browned rabbit (so that the meat is almost covered with water), add lentils, unmilled pepper. Close the lid, let it boil, reduce the temperature to 200 degrees and bring to readiness.
  • 4. Sprinkle with herbs a few minutes before the end of cooking.
