Butter pumpkin-poppy curl (bread maker)

150 gr pumpkin puree +
1 egg +
milk to level = 275 ml
Fresh yeast 15 g
Salt 0.5 teaspoon spoons
Vanilla sugar 1 sachet
Butter (margarine) 50 g
Flour 420 g
Sugar (ordinary spoons, with a slide) 4 table. spoons
Poppy filling (I buy ready-made) 250 g

Cooking method

  • Boil the pumpkin in steam or in water, drain the water, puree the pumpkin with a blender. Beat the egg in a measuring glass with a fork, add the pumpkin puree and top up, stirring, with milk to the level of 275 ml.
  • Grind the yeast with sugar, pour the pumpkin mixture and leave on the table overnight.
  • The pumpkin puree will rise upward, and yeast will ferment underneath. (It's cool in my kitchen - no more than 16 degrees.)
  • In the morning, pour the dough into a bucket of HP, sift the flour on top, add salt, vanilla sugar, cut into small pieces of margarine at room temperature. The "dough" mode - 1 hour 50 minutes. (22 min. Heating, 20 min. Kneading, 1 hour 5 min. Rise). You still need to follow the kolobok! Puree can be of different degrees of moisture, milk of different fat content, etc., etc.
  • When the dough is ready, knead it (a couple of minutes in the "kneading" mode) and let it rise again.
  • Divide the finished dough into two parts, roll each part into a rectangle about 5 mm thick, grease it with filling and roll it up with a roll from both sides to the center. Put the rolls in a bread maker (remove the stirrers), let them rise, grease with glaze (0.5 teaspoons of starch, dilute with 2 tablespoons of water at room temperature), sprinkle with poppy seeds and turn on the baking.
  • I baked the roll on a light crust for 45 minutes.
  • I cannot convey to you in words what a beautiful, delicious and fragrant pastry turned out !!! Delight!!!

Thank you for the interesting recipe. I baked a curl yesterday, but since I didn't have a pumpkin, I replaced it with a banana. For me it turned out very tasty! Although yours is much prettier! Next time I will definitely try it with pumpkin!
didj83, I am very glad that you liked the recipe!
To health Butter pumpkin-poppy curl (bread maker) and thanks for the tip!
Stella, thanks for your curl Beautiful, fragrant ... But for some reason I didn't bake it I did everything according to the description, but baked it for 50 minutes and now I tried to save it in the oven, but the dough inside fell ... Well, it’s so delicious it smells, it is so sunny ... we chew half-baked
What could be the reason for the lack of baking?
Natasha, it is quite possible that the matter is in your HP. For example, in my current Clatronic BBA 3365, it is not possible to bake in the "Bake" mode, since this mode is only suitable for heating. Maybe in your HP as well? The temperature just isn't high enough.
I'll try to do it again, very wonderful Curl I will try to increase the baking time. Now I compared the color of the crust on your Curl and your own, yours is darker. Of course, the monitor may also distort the color rendition, but most likely it is.
The taste and color of homemade ones is appreciated at its true worth, you just need to bring it to readiness in the HP itself, and not in the oven
Good luck to you!
Stеrn, Stella, the problem was in yeast: it was poorly raised, as a result, it was not baked.
I baked your curl today) I had to slightly increase the proportions (I really needed to attach yogurt). As you can see, it turned out to be an excellent delicious butter bread! Thank you, we will bake some more!Butter pumpkin-poppy curl (bread maker)
