Adjarian schnitzels


Pork or beef 700g
White bread 5 slices
Milk 0.5 cups
Onion 1 large head
Eggs 10 pieces.
Hard grated cheese (finely grated) 150g
Salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Soak the bread in milk.
  • Cut the meat into pieces, cut the onion into pieces.
  • Pass the bread, meat and onions through a meat grinder twice.
  • Add a couple of eggs, salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Form 8 oval-shaped cakes in the form of boats from the resulting mass with wet hands.
  • Line a baking sheet with baking paper and place our boats on it.
  • Make a depression in the middle of each boat with the convex side of a tablespoon.

  • Put the boats in a preheated oven to 200g for 15 minutes.
  • Then sprinkle the grooves with cheese, beat in 1 egg, and sprinkle with cheese on the sides.
