Meatball soup in Ninja® Foodi® 6.5-qt.

Minced meat 500gr
Carrot 1
Onion 1
Broken vermicelli or spaghetti

Cooking method

  • Today I cooked soup in a foody pot. I was wondering if it was possible to cook soup without pressure, I tried it, and I say - you can and should.
  • The Steam program is just wonderful, there is no strong boil, it gurgles exactly as it should for the soup, not too much, so as not to make the soup cloudy, and not weak. The only thing, it is better to put the pan under the hood, it still hovers from an open pan.
  • So, the soup is the most elementary, without any frying, with a minimum of ingredients. There is nothing new in it, it's just an experiment with the Steam program, the lid is open all the time.
  • We will peel and prepare vegetables, onions, carrots and potatoes. Pour water into a saucepan, put chopped onions and carrots, set the STEAM program. Time in this program is 30 minutes, no longer exhibited. First, the water heats up, then the program starts. I did not notice how much water heats up, but it doesn't feel for long.

    Salt and put potatoes
  • We roll the meatballs. I have a lot, because everyone loves them and fights for them, and then they measure up to see who has more on the plate)))) Boys are such boys, old and small.

The potatoes were boiled while I rolled the meatballs, then I put them in a saucepan.

Always descale the meatballs to keep the broth clear
  • Cook the meatballs for 7-10 minutes, by this time the potatoes will be cooked. It all took me 25 minutes. That is, from the moment the water boiled, the soup was cooked for 25 minutes.

Now we break the spaghetti into small vermicelli or take the vermicelli. Turn off the Steam program. We put the vermicelli and herbs.

We mix. Close the lid for the pressure cooker. All.

Let it stand for 10 minutes and enjoy the delicious soup.
  • Bon Appetit!!!
  • I liked the program very much, I will now cook soups without pressure.

Irina, I just love these soups, maybe I can cook tomorrow! Though full, but would not refuse a plate! The beauty!
Cvetaal, yeah, it turned out tasty and fast enough
Lerele, Irish, I always cook this for our little one, he only eats it! Only I don’t put the bow.
And frozen meatballs are always in the fridge. The other day I bought an Italian uniform for them, until I tested it, and I do it by hand from homemade minced meat.

Jouravl, listen, what is the size of this form, or rather the meatballs ?? Maybe I need it too?
I also often cook this in a saucepan on the stove only. And here I had a food truck under the hood on the panel, I was reluctant to rearrange it, and at the same time I tested the program. I liked it, now I'm thinking over borscht how to cook it in one pan.

Ira, the size of the meatballs is 4 cm in diameter, it turns out 16 meatballs, the size of the mold is 19x19 cm.
This red one cuddles

But I haven't tried it yet.
Jouravl, yes, I already watched the video
They are big for me, I need about 1 cm for soup, well, or 1.5. I wanted to buy a spoon with handles like scissors, but I crumple. Although I often have such soup, it takes a long time to roll the meatballs.
Irisha, lately I've been eating just this kind of soup: simpler food, better stool!
What a fine fellow you are that you have tested the new regime, I will soon test it according to your algorithm too - the result is very pleasing!
Did you cook with the valve open? Or with the lid open?
In short, wait for the report on how I will buy fresh meat.
Recently, all of us rushed to freeze meatballs in hexagonal ice molds, where they get small ones, but not round. I bought it but haven't tested it yet. I also like small ones, but I make Ossetian soup with large ones, but they are made with rice according to the recipe.
Rada-dms, yes, I did not close the lid at all, I'll go and add it in the recipe.
I really liked it, so I want to try the borscht, as we finish it, I will do it.

What are the forms ??
Lerele, thanks for the recipe!
Jouravl, thanks for the form!
Irish, cool soup, I'll try to make it in Fedka.
We have meatballs - the most popular soup, a small one can eat it without a break for a month. Therefore, there is always a supply of frozen 4-5 servings.
Ice cream in such silicone honeycombs (discussed for a long time in some topic)

It turns out a very suitable size for us, and it is very convenient to store it on top of each other in the freezer.
Kara, Christmas trees, I have the same, only red. When we discussed, I bought it, I just bought it, I never used it
I have 5 of them! And I adore them, they help out just incredibly
Kara, surely beautiful meatballs are obtained, I will definitely try.
