Onion 2 pcs
Garlic 4-5 teeth
Soy sauce 2 tbsp. l
Sour cream 3 tbsp. l
Pepper, salt, seasoning taste
Water 500 ml

Cooking method

Rinse the thighs, trim off the fat. Cut in two and fold into a cup. Add salt, fresh garlic, seasonings (I have dry adjika, lemon pepper, curry and turmeric). Add sour cream, pour in soy sauce and mix everything. Leave for 40 minutes.

Rinse and dry the rice.

Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Saute the onions and carrots lightly.

Grease the mold with oil. Add rice. Season with salt and curry and turmeric. Pour in water.

Put carrots and onions on the rice.

And put the chicken pieces on top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 grams for 50-60 minutes. If the water has boiled away and the rice is not ready yet, add water.

I do that too. But to speed up the process, pour boiling water (well, or just hot water from a kettle). And I put-rice, fry-salt-pepper - chicken and then pour water from a corner. About 25 minutes - covered with a lid - if not, then tighten with foil (so that the top layer of rice does not dry out) and turn off the oven. let it sweat for 15-20 minutes. ... The process of heating the water takes time - that's why I pour hot water.
Alexandra, you don't need to soak rice just rinse and dry. I just dab it with a towel.
