Couscous with vegetables (+ video)


Onion 1 PC
Garlic 5tooth
Celery 2 stems
Bulgarian pepper 1 PC
Small squash 1 PC
A tomato 1 PC
Tomato sauce 3st. l.
Couscous 1 stack.
Water 2 stacks
Salt, spices, basil, cilantro taste
Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking method

Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
Add in turn the finely chopped onion, garlic, celery, bell pepper, zucchini, tomato.
Add tomato sauce, paprika, hot peppers, basil.
Pour couscous on top of the vegetables and pour boiling water over them. There should be 2 times more water than couscous. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Then turn off the gas, mix the swollen couscous with vegetables, sprinkle with cilantro on top, cover and let it brew for another 5 minutes.


A quick and delicious lunch or dinner in 20 minutes. Hearty, juicy and light stand-alone dish for lean or vegetarian meals. Or as a great side dish for meat. Unlike other cereals, couscous takes only 5 minutes to cook. This is very helpful when you need to quickly prepare lunch or dinner.
